Why Mount Guyot
Mount Guyot is the second-tallest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains at 6,621 feet, named for nineteenth-century geographer Arnold Guyot, who helped survey the range. Unlike Kuwohi, there’s no road or paved trail to the true summit — reaching it means a bushwhack off the Appalachian Trail, which makes it a quiet point of pride for serious hikers rather than a roadside stop.
Carved With the Same Appalachian Craft
Every piece starts with real elevation data turned into an accurate 3D model, then CNC-carved and hand-finished in black walnut, cherry, white oak, or ash — sourced locally in these same mountains where possible. Guyot’s long, forested ridgeline carves beautifully against the warm amber tones of cherry.
Make It Yours
Every order starts with a digital 3D rendering for your approval, so you see exactly what you’re getting before a single cut is made. Choose your size, your wood, and how you’d like it mounted — desk, wall, or both.
